Dr. Nahid is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. His research includes the conduct of clinical trials and translational research in TB with the goal of improving the care of patients with TB and HIV/TB worldwide. With an emphasis on TB therapeutics, my research uses computational methods to study the dynamic interplay between disease progression, drug and biomarker response across relevant scales (molecule, cell, tissue, organ & whole body) in order to determine causal links underlying variability in (safety and efficacy) clinical outcomes.
