World TB Day Symposium

2025 UCSF World TB Day Symposium

This Symposium was co-hosted by the UCSF Center for Tuberculosis and the Curry International Tuberculosis Center. The theme for this event was: Strengthening TB Programs: Breaking Down Barriers to TB Care. The program included a keynote address, a panel led by Early-Stage Investigators from the TB Research Advancement Center (TRAC ESIs), discussions on the socioeconomic aspects of TB, personal stories from TB survivors, and recognition of the vital roles played by community health workers and patient advocates.
