2023 program 2023 ABSTRACT BOOK
The Bay Area TB Science (BATS) Symposium was held in-person on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 9am-6pm, on the UCSF Mission Bay campus, focusing on local researchers sharing their work and allow for networking opportunities along with talks, posters, catered lunch, and a wine and cheese reception.
We were honored to have Dr. Eric Rubin serve as this year’s Keynote Speaker. He is an Adjunct Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Harvard Chan School of Public Health, and also serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the New England Journal of Medicine.
BATS Rising Star Awardees
This award acknowledges a postdoctoral fellow or assistant professor who has distinguished themselves in TB research.
