2024 program 2024 ABSTRACT BOOK
The Bay Area TB Science (BATS) Symposium was held in-person on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9am-6pm, on the UCSF Mission Bay campus, focusing on local researchers sharing their work and allow for networking opportunities along with talks, posters, catered lunch, and a wine and cheese reception.
Dr. Megan Murray, Keynote Speaker
We were honored to have Dr. Megan Murray serve as this year’s Keynote Speaker. Dr. Murray is a Ronda Stryker and William Johnston Professor of Global Health, and Director of Research, Global Health & Social Medicine at the Harvard Medical School. She is an epidemiologist and an infectious disease physician with over 25 years of experience studying tuberculosis and other emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases
BATS Rising Star Awardees
This
award acknowledges a postdoctoral fellow or assistant professor who has distinguished themselves in TB research. This year's recipient is Dr. Antonio J. Pagán from Stanford University.BATS Poster winners
