The Bay Area TB Science (BATS) Symposium was held in-person on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9am-6pm, on the UCSF Mission Bay campus, focusing on local researchers sharing their work and allow for networking opportunities along with talks, posters, catered lunch, and a wine and cheese reception.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Mark Davis, Director for the Stanford Institute for Immunity, Transplantation and Infection, and The Burt and Marion Avery Family Professor of Immunology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
The event will be hosted by the Center for Tuberculosis at UCSF, with partners from UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and Stanford University participating in the event’s planning committee.
